HackArambh ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website https://hackarambh.com/ (the "Site"). This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for entry fees or other payments made in connection with our competitions, coding challenges, mentorship programs, or other services (collectively, the "Services"). By paying for any Services, you agree to the terms of this policy.

We strive to provide a fair and transparent process, but all payments are generally non-refundable except as explicitly stated below. Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 10-14 business days. All refunds are in the currency originally charged and may be subject to applicable taxes or fees.

If you do not agree with this Refund Policy, please do not make any payments.

1. Eligible Refunds

Refunds may be available in the following limited situations:

1.1 Pre-Competition Cancellations

• Full Refund: If you request cancellation before the competition registration deadline (as specified in the competition rules), you are eligible for a full refund of the entry fee, minus any applicable processing fees (e.g., 2-5% for payment gateway charges).
• Partial Refund: If requested after the registration deadline but before the competition start date, a partial refund of 50% of the entry fee may be granted at our discretion.

1.2 Technical Issues

• If a payment is successfully processed but you did not receive confirmation or access to the registered competition due to a verifiable technical error on our end, we will issue a full refund upon confirmation of the issue.

1.3 Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

• Full refunds will be issued for any duplicate charges or payments made in error (e.g., wrong competition selected), provided the request is made within 7 days of the transaction.

2. Non-Refundable Payments

The following payments are non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Entry fees after the competition start date or submission deadline.
• Payments for mentorship sessions, workshops, or add-on services that have already been delivered or scheduled.
• Prizes, winnings, or any disbursements (refunds do not apply to prizes).
• Any fees related to team registrations where services have commenced.
• Cancellations due to personal reasons, ineligibility, or failure to comply with competition rules.

We reserve the right to deny refunds if we suspect fraudulent activity, abuse of the policy, or violations of our Terms & Conditions.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

1. Log in to your account on the Site and navigate to the "My Registrations" section.
2. Select the relevant transaction and submit a refund request with a clear explanation and supporting details (e.g., transaction ID, reason for request).
3. Alternatively, email us at support@hackarambh.com with your full name, email address, transaction details, and reason for the request.

We will review your request within 5-7 business days and notify you of our decision via email. Approved refunds will be processed promptly.

4. Exceptions and Special Cases

• Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics) that cause a competition to be canceled by us, full refunds will be automatically issued to all registered participants.
• Group or Team Payments: Refunds for team entries will be handled through the designated team lead.
• International Transactions: Currency conversion fees or international transfer charges are non-refundable.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant updates will be notified via email or a Site announcement.
